LaTianna Dumas

LaTianna Dumas graduated from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where she distinguished herself academically and professionally and is joining Loftus and Eisenberg as a Graduate Law Fellow. During law school, LaTianna served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Journal of Law and Social Policy and was consistently named to the Dean’s List. Her time at Northwestern allowed her to combine rigorous legal scholarship with practical experience, preparing her to excel in complex litigation and policy-focused work.  

During law school, LaTianna worked as a Research Assistant at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, conducting in-depth research on property law, social movements, and disability laws. She also gained valuable experience as a student attorney in the Tenant Advocacy Clinic and as a law clerk in local boutique law practices.  

Prior to law school, LaTianna earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in December 2019. Her background in psychology provides her with a deep understanding of human behavior and interpersonal dynamics, which informs her approach to client advocacy, legal analysis, and problem-solving. During her undergraduate education, LaTianna interned for the Champaign County State’s Attorney Office in 2018, gaining foundational exposure to our adversarial system.  

LaTianna combines her legal expertise with her psychology background to approach cases with both analytical rigor and empathy. She is passionate about advocating equitable policies, supporting clients through complex legal matters, and contributing to meaningful social and legal reforms. With a track record of academic achievement, practical experience, and a commitment to justice, LaTianna Dumas is poised to make a significant impact on the legal profession.
