Jess Vogel Loftus
Head of Marketing and Chief of Staff
Jess Vogel Loftus is a dynamic marketing professional whose decades-long career includes developing branding and digital and strategic recommendations for numerous brands across many industries. Jess has a knack for tactical and strategic marketing execution, making it her business to be the best in her work and pushing the boundaries of what's expected.
Jess has been supporting the firm since its inception in 2020 and is passionate about its work, helping right the wrongs in business litigation and employment law. Since supporting the firm, Jess has become increasingly passionate about the high-risk, high-reward, yet incredibly meaningful work the attorneys do at Loftus & Eisenberg every day. Over the years, Jess has played an integral role in raising the firm's online presence through the website, search, and social media, as well as in impactful community relations and the general support of the firm's endeavors.
Jess has a passion for law, recently fulfilling extensive requirements and undergoing rigorous training to be approved to join the esteemed roster of FINRA Arbitrators. Before moving to the Midwest, Jess also served on the board of a non-profit organization, the Texas Advocacy Project, dedicated to providing legal services for victims of domestic abuse and violent crimes for seven years. In this role, beyond her standard board duties, Jess served as a key marketing consultant, at the time being one of the few board members with marketing expertise and was very active in the organization's marketing efforts.
Before coming to the firm, Jess served as a Senior Director of Strategic Consulting at Epsilon in Chicago, where she had been since 2018. A role at Sears before that brought Jess to the Midwest from Austin, Texas, where she had previously been in marketing at Dell for nearly thirteen years. Throughout her career, Jess has devised top-notch marketing strategies focused on customer experience and customer retention by taking a people-first approach, leveraging data, competitive insights, and the newest technologies.
Beyond her professional career, Jess is deeply committed to her community and has nearly twenty years of cumulative non-profit board experience, including her time at the Texas Advocacy Project. Currently, Jess sits on the Illinois Board of Trustees of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the PAWS Chicago Professional Board. Jess also serves as the Vice President, preparing to be President in the 2024-2025 school year at her step-kids elementary school in the D65 Skokie/Evanston school district. She also recently served as Vice President, Advisory Board and Marketing Committee Chair for Season to Soar, a non-profit helping at-risk youth in Chicago, for four years before moving to the North Shore.
Jess's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from The University of Texas at Austin. She is also a certified life coach from the Achology School and is fanatical about living her fullest, most authentic life and helping those around her do the same.
Jess is a devoted wife, bonus mom to her two step-kids, aunt to her four nieces and nephews, and dog mom to the family's first dog, a toy Goldendoodle named Bear.
